Healthcare professionals from all over Spain and abroad came together at the III Spain Healthcare Innovation Summit in Madrid on November 17th to discuss the latest advances and trends in healthcare innovation.

FUNDESALUD (Foundation for the Training and Research of Health Professionals in Extremadura) participated in a panel that discussed how Bigdata and Artificial Intelligence are revolutionizing healthcare in Spain. All players agreed the more qualified date we have, the better decision we can make based on accurate information.
Jonathan Gomez-Raja, representing FUNDESALUD, spoke about the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare systems, the barriers and opportunities it presents, and finally, the Entity’s involvement in the European Project CRANE, which involves an innovative approach to care where interactive technology for smart selfcare-management plays a pivotal role.
