In the context of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (PFUE), the French Ministry of Solidarity and Health is organising the :
Virtual European High Level Conference on
“Citizenship, Ethics and Health Data”
on February 2, 2022
The Conference is in line with the strategic orientations set out by the President of the French Republic in his inaugural speech of the PFUE on December 9, 2021. The French President called for building the next steps of the European ambition on shared European values.
The objective of the February 2, 2022 conference is to prepare the ground for digital health in the European Union.
This high level conference, organised by the Ministerial eHealth Delegation (DNS), will be an opportunity to formalise the values which will condition the development of digital health, and to clarify the principles which are set to be the pillars of the future European Health Data Space (EHDS). The conference will also aim to underpin the European digital health strategy with a strong citizen-centered and ethics-based approach.
The conference will build upon the contribution of a large number of experts (national authorities, European Commission, citizens, health professionals, industrialists and academics) and will be closed by Mr Olivier Véran Minister for Solidarity and Health, accompanied by several European health ministers and members of the European Commission.
The High-level conference will be simultaneously translated into five languages: French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.
