Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The Tracking Program and WFEHSB will modernize surveillance activities for EH services that are relevant for COVID-19 responses and strengthen capacity of state, territorial, local, and tribal health departments (STLT HD) by bolstering and scaling the Tracking Network infrastructure and processes. With this approach, we will modernize the Tracking Network to improve data timeliness and accuracy while reducing the burden on STLT HD.

The modernized Tracking Network will serve as a common portal for collecting and disseminating EH services data from STLT HD. The Tracking Network will integrate EH data feeds, including those relevant to COVID-19 (e.g., data from STLT HD EH programs, ATSDR, National Poison Data System, and other agencies), into the Tracking Network to create reusable, sustainable data pipelines for collecting, validating, and sharing data.
