2021 will feature a landmark event in the history of telehealth in the U.S. – the first annual Telehealth Awareness Week (TAW) will take place 19-25 September! Telehealth champions and supporters from every sector of healthcare will be joining together to underscore the growing value of telehealth and its critical role in providing access to safe, quality care to everyone who needs it.
With more attention than ever before now focused on access to healthcare services, TAW will be a major national platform that will engage patients, providers, payers, and policymakers at every level. A key element of this special week will be centered on elevating the voices of organizations dedicated to advocating for expanded access to healthcare services and supporting the health of diverse patient communities. Leading up to and during TAW, a range of activities and resources including special events, storytelling opportunities, educational materials, social media content and much more will help drive our collective effort to promote telehealth awareness in new and creative ways.
