OpenClinical CIC, an Oxford University Innovation spin-in, is to publish an AI enabled app for eldercare: the first of many planned for use on smartphones.
The team is Oxford-based and includes medical doctors, software and graphics experts configured to deliver dynamic media rich content to carers everywhere.
CareEnabler, soon to be a free resource accessible in an app, provides support in the basics of looking after residents and carers themselves. Delivering expert advice on a revolutionary learning platform, to any mobile phone or tablet, the growing knowledge base includes core care provision skills and tasks such as:
- Manual handling
- Feeding and personal hygiene
- Medical emergencies
- Infection prevention and control
Access to the CareEnabler app Platform to give all care staff, in care homes and in family homes, easily understood, media-rich content free to use at the point of care benefitting those in need and enhancing individuals’ confidence, competence and careers.
Furthermore, care providers’ managers have many new tools & data feedback from daily usage.
