Seeking solid tumor cancer patients and family caregivers for paid engagement project.
Patient in Focus and its partners are seeking patients diagnosed with solid tumors (or their caregivers) for a paid engagement project.
Solid tumor cancer could be e.g., breast cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma, kidney, colon, carcinoma, sarcoma, carcinosarcoma, lymphoma, brain, spinal cord, germ cell (ovarian cancer), cervical, lung cancer or any other solid tumor types.
We have a unique situation where we can get various cancer types together to discuss their journeys and make an impact in the future of cancer.
Project requirements to qualify:
- Solid tumor cancer patient or caregiver to a solid tumor cancer patient.
- Stage 3 or higher (or in remission after having been in that stage).
- Adults aged 18 or older.
- Living in Italy, Germany, South Korea, or Japan.
- Must speak some English.
- Patient or caregiver engagement is not required.
Patient and caregiver engagement activities:
The patients and caregivers will participate in a workshop spread out over 5 days for a total of 3 hours (approximately 30 mins each day) as well as a 90-minute focus group. Both are done online/from home.
The purpose is to understand the lives of a patient in stage 3 or higher and gain insights to what they go through as well as what would encourage them to join a clinical trial at that stage.
All participants are offered a fair market value rate honorarium for their time. The honorarium depends on your country of residency.
If you have questions, please contact Patient in Focus (www.patientinforcus.org) and Charlotta Norgaard at cn@patientinfocus.org
If you are interested in doing patient and caregiver engagement now or in the future, you can sign up here: https://patientinfocus.com/patientengagement/
It is free to sign up and does not commit you to any projects but merely gives us the opportunity to reach out when we have a project you might be interested in.
