Call for tenders open for Lombardy pre-commercial procurement on imaging technology for surgical support systems

During surgery, the surgeon and team work in the sterile field, with limited visual access to external monitors and no tactile access outside the sterile field. Therefore Lombardy is looking for an innovative digital device for the integrated collection and visualization of all the relevant preoperative and operative information during a specific surgical procedure, without the surgeon having to detach himself from the sterile field. Testing/experimentation will take place in foundation IRCCS National Cancer Institute, Milan.
