The event that was held at the Catalonia Plaza Catalunya Hotel was inaugurated by Clara Navarro, Co-Founder of the Ship2B Foundation, and Ramón López, representative of Agbar as head of Innovation Ecosystems. .
The S2B Tech4Climate program, in which startups with innovative technologies in the field of sustainability and the environment are selected, is jointly promoted by the Ship2B Foundation, Agbar, the Repsol Foundation and the Barcelona City Council, as well as IRTA, CREAF and INEDIT as strategic partners.
On the other hand, the S2B Health&Care program is jointly promoted by the Ship2B Foundation, DKV, Cofares, Agbar and Cinfa.
Both programs are supported by: Catalonia Hotels, Fundación Altamar, Fundación ONCE and JORI
During the day, the panel “How corporations help startups?” was also held, which was attended by representatives of some of our partners: Julio Sánchez, Head of Innovation at Cinfa, Germán Villar Lagos, CTO – Director of Development and Innovation of Cofares, David Camps, Director of Communication and Marketing of Fundación Integralia, in DKV, who addressed topics such as the integration of startup projects in the strategy of corporations, the established support models and the value propositions that have gone beyond the pre-established plans.
Impact pitches: 7 startups looking for investment.
In 6 minutes, each startup presented its impact pitch in search of investment, in which they presented the problem they are addressing, their solution proposal, business model, market, competitors, roadmap, among other topics.
According to public voting, one of them has stood out for each program; Bamboo Energy for the S2B Tech4Climate program and Ysotope Theranostics for S2B Health&Care.
