On 11 June 2025, 4P-CAN Coordinator Marius Geanta took part in the Cancer Thematic Innovation Ecosystem, a live webinar co-led by ECHAlliance.

In a panel moderated by Andy Bleaden, all invited speakers could present and discuss the challenges and possible solutions to enhance cancer pervention in remote ares and how to track inequalities in cancer. It was especially interesting hearing from various perspectives: from eastern, western or southern Europe to sub-Saharan Africa.

More than collaborations, it is co-creation that can lead to significant improvements in cancer prevention and care.

It was also the occasion to announce the newly launched Global Cancer Ecosystem, to tackle health inequalities worldwide. The first gathering of the Global Cancer Ecosystem will take place visturally on 7 October at 15:00 CET, bringing together leading voices and best practices from North America, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Ireland, and Africa.
