The 4C Accelerator is a free qualification program targeted to MedTech startup that want to fasten their way into the market. It consists of 15 interactiv workshops with top experts and 1 year of individual coaching. The goal is to enable founders to develop a regulatory plausible and entrepreneurially successful business model.

The goal of the qualification program is to enable you to develop a regulatory plausible and entrepreneurially successful business model. Therefore, we will provide you with knowledge and methods in the 4Cs:
- C1-Commercialization | How do I generate revenue in the healthcare industry?
- C2-Certification |How does the certification of my product and my company work?
- C3-Clinical Studies | How do I prove safety and performance of my product?
- C4-Copyright | How can I use data and property rights for my own advantage?
By training you in Regulatory Thinking® at the same time, you will learn to understand the regulatory requirements of the 4Cs-topics in an interconnected way and to integrate them holistically into your business model.

Please focus your answers not only on the potential of your project. Your application will be evaluated in terms of a general fit for the program as a whole and on whether you can benefit from its content.
Therefore, please provide an honest explanation about your challenges and the gaps you need to close. Moreover, please describe your exact expectations. Your answers will help us to understand, if the design of the program matches with your expectations.
Since you apply as a project or startup, one registration is enough. We do not need an application from each team member.
We specialized in the promotion of innovations in medical technology (MedTech). Therefore, we know: Startups with medical devices or in vitro diagnostics (IVD), as part of the healthcare industry, have to overcome higher hurdles than startups from other industries. At the same time, there are rarely experts on the industry-specific, highly regulated and thus critical topics of the 4Cs: C1 | Commercialization, C2 | Certification, C3 | Clinical Studies and C4 | Copyright. Moreover, it is not only know-how in the 4Cs that is crucial, but also their integration into the business model. This can be achieved with the Regulatory Thinking® method we have developed.
In our 4C Accelerator, we enable medtech startups to overcome the specific hurdles of the healthcare industry through knowledge transfer in the 4Cs and practical training on Regulatory Thinking®. Founders learn how to integrate the regulatory requirements of the 4Cs, such as MDR/IVDR, ISO 13485, DSGVO and of the German reimbursement system, into their business model development at an early stage and to consider them in their entrepreneurial activities.
