How to manage the emergency and leap towards a digital health future

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues, it has become even more challenging for patients to seek in- person medical care and for healthcare providers (HCP) to guarantee community health services for people who may have symptoms or concerns about the virus, at the same time keeping them home to help prevent the spread of the infection.

Health innovation companies are playing a front-line role in helping to fight the novel coronavirus by providing solutions and services that expand access to care with telehealth and other clinical support systems.

As one of the leading health innovation platforms, Frontiers Health believes that digital innovations are invaluable tools in addressing patients and clinicians’ needs in times like these. Digital Health could be one of the few areas of business to grow in the current economic slowdown brought about by the health emergency unfolding. Amogst various solutions, the use of symptom trackers and chatbots are a promising area for coronavirus triage and response, while telehealth services can significantly limit the spread of COVID-19 and stop it from overwhelming our already stretched medical system.

Now more than ever, we want to express our gratitude and admiration to the community of Frontiers Health innovators for all the amazing work they are doing. We will be featuring a continously updated selection of initiatives and tools from our ecosystem partners, who are taking urgent measures, leveraging their solutions, to bring reinforcements to the global fight to stop the outbreak from expanding even further.

Please, reach out to us at [email protected] to to suggest other Covid-19 initiatives to add to the list!
