In recent weeks, Elemental has invested in enhancing its social prescribing platform to allow for rapid identification of vulnerable people in communities and the technical connectivity that Link Workers need for partnership working, leadership and the measurement of mobilisation of support where needed during Covid-19.

RESPONDING FURTHER DURING UNPRECEDENTED TIMES

Responding further, and in a bid to better connect people to be better supported in their community, Elemental has partnered with video consultation and patient facing platform provider, Wellola, to enable Link Workers and their communities to connect safely and securely via video on their smartphones. The partnership means that Link Workers using Elemental can now fill the void of face to face consultations, by offering secure video calls as a form of remote contact and engagement. Following the video consultation, Link Workers will be able record consultation outcomes in Elemental, keeping the client pathway patient and person centred, mapped and measured.

Sonia Neary, CEO, Wellola said, “At Wellola, we have always held Elemental in very high regard. Supporting community-based care through digital tools is at the heart of what both companies do and we feel this is a very natural collaboration. We are looking forward to working with Elemental in order to better serve our mutual customer base.”

Jennifer Neff, Co-CEO & Founder of Elemental said: “We’re committed to ensuring our customers can fully support their communities during these unprecedented times. There are over 700 Link Workers using Elemental across the UK and Ireland to make, manage and report on the uptake and impact of referrals. Video consultations provide those who are vulnerable with a more personal form of contact, and it’s always nice to see a friendly face. Our aim always has been and will be providing the technical connectivity Link Workers need to continue support at the highest possible level. “We’re delighted to be working with the team at Wellola, this will be an extremely useful addition for Elemental customers, even after Covid-19.”

Elemental co-founders Jennifer Neff and Leeann Monk-Ozgul will be discussing this and much more during the TedxDerryLondonderry “Covid19 – The Impact” event via Zoom over four dates see here for details.
