Monday, 22 September (Day 1) – “Transforming Women’s Health through Science & Sustainable Partnerships”
In collaboration with the Society for Women’s Health Research, the session will focus on transforming Women’s Health, including the widening gap between women’s life expectancy and health expectancy, the lack of investment in female-specific research, and the importance of integrating women’s health into global policy agendas.
Tuesday, 23 September (Day 2) – “The Power of Convergence: Enabling the Prevention and Management of Obesity and related NCDs”
Co-hosted with our partners, Novo Nordisk and HLTH, our session will highlight the urgent need to address obesity as a global health challenge. By bringing together leaders in health, science, finance, and policy, we will explore how convergence can unlock new models for prevention, funding, and systemic change.
To conclude the Global Health Connector will host an invitation-only gathering will take place on the afternoon of 24 September at the UN Headquarters Building. This high-level meeting will bring together key stakeholders to reflect on the outcomes from the previous two days of convergence and to define actions going forward.
