VSP Vision Innovation Challenge Showcase

The eye is a window into full-body health, providing valuable insights on more than 270 systemic and chronic conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s. Today, new technology-driven shifts, such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, are heightening the role the eye plays in a person’s ability to be and stay healthy, underscoring the importance for accessible, elevated eye care experiences.

VSP Vision, the leader in health-focused vision care, partnered with MATTER for the inaugural VSP Vision Innovation Challenge to explore how we can enhance and transform eye care for both patients and providers.

Powered by the VSP Global Innovation Center, this year’s challenge focused on sourcing and supporting next-gen solutions that are enabling patients to proactively manage their eye health, scaling access to care, and aiding optometrists in delivering elevated experiences and outcomes.

On August 15, join us, healthcare innovators, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and more in-person at MATTER or virtually to hear pitches from the five Challenge finalists. Additionally, hear from our keynote speakers, Visibly CEO Brent Rasmussen and Head of the VSP Global Innovation Center Ruth Yomtoubian.

The finalists – Lens2Recycle, Machine MD, Ophthalytics, RevitalVision and Vision Science Labs – will present to a panel of industry leaders for a chance to win $10,000 for first, $5,000 for second, and $5,000 for an audience choice award.

Following the program, there will be a reception with light appetizers and beverages; we look forward to seeing you there!
