Healthcare treatment paid only if it is effective for the patient. Personalized therapy instead of a one size fits all therapy. These are only two examples of value-based care, which is an increasingly present concept in healthcare to improve the quality of care, healthcare outcomes and financial sustainability of healthcare.
Value-based care includes personalized medicine, coordinated integrative care and many more improvements of the way the healthcare system works. On this year’s Healthday.si annual conference we will be exploring how to think differently to accelerate healthcare improvement, what are the discussions about value based care in radiology and oncology. We will debate with healthcare stakeholders about the current state of value-based care in Slovenia.
