Roundtable 8 – European Health Data Space webinar

ECHAlliance and I~HD are holding a webinar on the EHDS on Thursday 5 December 2- 3.30 CET. Please save the date.

In 2020 ECHAlliance and I~HD started a virtual Round Table programme of multi-stakeholders to discuss Health Data Ecosystems. To date there have been 7 Round Tables with over 120 experts attending, with some attending multiple Round Tables. The programme was designed to assist the European Commission develop the EHDS concept and to influence the development of the enabling EHDS Regulation. Each Round Table led to a published Report containing recommendations. The complete set of Reports are here.

After analysing the EHDS Regulation we have prepared a new report to accompany a webinar. This tracks our Recommendations against the EHDS Regulation, to highlight which recommendations have been taken up, and which could still be important to advocate for as the legislators start working on the enabling secondary legislation. This comparison report will be sent shortly to you with our formal invitation to the webinar. The webinar will focus at a high level on certain of the enabling powers and key actions for the European Commission and Member States and conclude with a plenary Q&A session. We intend to use the gap analysis report and the webinar contributions to produce a new set of Calls to Action for the EHDS legislators.
