This event will be presented in an ONLINE format. Speakers will be able to report remotely and present e-posters during their scheduled talk time. Beginning of the conference at 9:00 a.m., April 30, 2025, Ivano-Frankivsk, Halytska St, 2. (The central building of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University). The conference promotes best practices in doctoral training, ensuring high-quality education and research development. Attendees gain insights into modern trends, methodologies, and challenges in PhD training, helping improve research effectiveness.

Our conference, "The Development of Best Practices in Doctors of Philosophy Training," is highly relevant to health professionals as it explores key aspects of scientific research, postgraduate medical education, and the integration of European and global standards into healthcare research.  Every year, the event gathers students, healthcare professionals, researchers, and educators to exchange knowledge and discuss advancements in medical research, postgraduate education, and evidence-based practice.

All participants of the conference will receive a certificate of participation indicating the total number of academic hours: 6 hours (0.2 ECTS credits) (in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No.800 dated 08.21.2019 “Some issues of qualification improvement of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff”).

CONFERENCE SECTIONS:

  1. The Implementation of European and global standards of scientific research and research management in Ukraine.
  2. Institutional and methodical principles of postgraduate studies and issues of awarding scientific degrees.
  3. The Analysis of the European experience of PhD training, the content and features of educational and scientific training programs for third-level higher education applicants.
  4. The Problems of academic integrity, academic mobility and publishing activity in the scientific environment.
  5. The Implementation of the regulatory framework for training and certification of highly qualified staff in Ukraine.
  6. The role of research centers in the process of training applicants for the third educational and scientific level of higher education.
  7. Higher education pedagogy and teaching practice in the system of training doctors of philosophy.
  8. The PhD student research topic choice: a combination of academic freedom and priorities for the development of professional science.
  9. The main problems of training young scientists from the perspective of scientific and pedagogical staff, applicants, and stakeholders.

This event will be presented in an ONLINE format. Speakers will be able to report remotely and present e-posters during their scheduled talk time. This format will be facilitated using the Microsoft Teams conferencing platform.

THE CONFERENCE LANGUAGE are Ukrainian and English.
