ON OCTOBER 23th AND 24th A CORUÑA WILL HELD THE IV FORUM RIES19: SILVER ECONOMY OF CLUSTER SAÚDE DE GALICIA (CSG), BASED ON THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES OF ACTIVE AGING
The IV Forum RIES19 will gather Key Opinion Leaders from the sector
The Cluster Saúde de Galicia (CSG) and the European Digital Health Network (ECHAlliance) will celebrate the IV Forum RIES19 in A Coruña (Galicia, Spain) addressing the international challenges of health ecosystems, with the motto Silver Economy: for an active and healthy aging. This international forum will focus on the demographic aging challenge from the perspective of research opportunities, innovation, employment creation, economic dynamization and service improvement for elderly people. An exclusive conference for members and CSG partners will take place on October 23th in the Casa del Hombre (Domus), followed by an open full day program on October 24th where social agents, companies, national and international speakers of the Silver Economy and important investors will participate. There will be five discussion panels previous to a networking session with investors. Juan Carlos Alcaide, recognized expert in Silver Economy, will be the keynote speaker and will explain the concepts and different options that can be widen through aging economy. A second panel will focused on the possibility of financing at European level with Andy Bleaden, project evaluator of the European Commission and Director of Ecosystems at ECHAlliance, and Juan Riese, scientific and technical advisor of the Office European of Projects. The third sector will expose their success cases as an engine of value creation in the social and health sector, in which the challenges and needs of society and the importance of private and public collaboration will be addressed. The presentation on integrative technological innovation by Gregor Cuzak, ECHAlliance Ecosystem Coordinator, will close the morning. In the afternoon it will be the turn of the investor’s vision, with a roundtable session with Santiago de Torres, of Inveready Biotech, as chairman. Yolanda Falcón, director of management in Xesgalicia, Isaac Chocron, Director of Business Development Iberia in OurCrowd and representatives of SHIPB2B and IGAPE will join him on the discussion and on the further networking session.
