We warmly invite you to save the date for the Continence Health Summit which will take place from 15:00 to 18:30 CET in Brussels on 8 November 2023. The agenda and more details will follow after the summer, but for now, please mark the date in your diaries!
Continence health problems are a major health issue impacting patients and their loved ones, national health systems, the economy, the environment, and society. However viable solutions exist.
While older people may be most commonly affected, many other individuals also suffer from continence problems, whether they are pregnant or have just given birth, are being treated for cancer or have neurological or mental health conditions. Projected demographic changes are likely to contribute to an increase in the prevalence of continence problems in the years to come.
This Continence Health Summit will bring stakeholders together to work on our common purpose: underscore the need for action and provide policymakers with a policy vision that can drive tangible change.
At the summit, we will hold a two-hour policy session where we will release the findings of a report on the socio-economic costs in the EU of continence health problems. Later in the day, we will hold a reception to present and sign a joint continence health manifesto for the EU.
Mark this date in your calendar and we hope to see you in Brussels on 8 November!
