On June 9-10, 2022, aRubik Hub headquarters in Piatra Neamț will host an event dedicated to accelerating the digital transition in health services in the North East Region of Romania, organized under the framework of the program “Science meets Regions” coordinated by the Joint Research Center (JRC).
The overall aim of the Science meets Regions program is to stimulate interregional collaboration in order to find solutions to common challenges at European level, to facilitate the digital transition in healthcare and to implement mechanisms to reduce the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on society.
The event “Accelerating the digital transformation of health services in the North-East Region”; aims to strengthen collaboration between hospital managers, specialists, researchers, innovators, representatives of the medical industry and public authorities in order to identify, develop and implement innovative solutions to problems that are being faced in the national healthcare system.
During the two days, plenary sessions will be organized on topics related to he digitalization of the health system, presentations of examples of good practice at European level, the role of Artificial Intelligence in medical diagnosis as well as funding opportunities in the field of digital health. but also participatory workshops according to the methodological model “Innovation Camp”; proposed by the JRC, in order to identify the possibilities of ensuring the interoperability of medical data at regional, national and European level. An important part of the proposed program will also be dedicated to the presentation of innovative technical solutions for the digitization of the healthcare system.

The invitations are open to everyone interested in bringing about a change in the health system, from hospital and medical center managers, specialists, creators of innovative digital solutions, local public authorities, to members of civil society involved in such actions.
