Pneumonia is considered the leading cause of death from infectious diseases in all ages worldwide. According to the Global Burden of Disease report, 2.5 million people died from pneumonia in 2019 worldwide. The conference will be hybrid (online and in-person) in the city of Lima-Peru, on November 10 at 1:00 p.m. (GMT-5). It is a free conference open to everyone, it will be in English and Spanish. The conference aims to give visibility to pneumonia and under the motto “Reducing the Impact of Pneumonia in the Americas” to raise awareness of this health problem that affects everyone.
