Since October 2020, we have been developing the European RuralCare project in the rural area of Valladolid. This project is ending and it is time to close content and present results. For this reason, we are going to hold the Final Conference of the project on September 25 in Brussels. The current demographic reality in Castilla y León is characterized by an increasingly ageing population, with 60% of older people concentrated in rural areas. The Rural Care project is developing an integrated model of long-term care which is people and community-centred, enabling people to stay in their own homes with the necessary support, based on an integral assessment of their wishes and their environment. We would like to invite you to participate in the Rural Care Final Conference on 25 September, hosted by the Committee of the Regions, when we will discuss the global results obtained from the project.
RuralCare is a European innovation project in social services consisting of the design, testing and evaluation of a systemic innovative approach, for the provision of integrated long-term care, adapted to people living in rural areas, based on their needs. individual values, desires and preferences.
