Mental health and digital technology were already fundamental challenges before the Covid-19 pandemic but it has become essential now. In general, mental health issues are a great concern worldwide. In 2017, about 970 million people worldwide suffered from a mental illness or addiction, including 284 million with an anxiety disorder and 264 million with depression. Schizophrenia affects more than 23 million people worldwide and causes premature death.
The Pôle TES, the BB@C Institute and the GREYC have decided to work on this issue of mental health, by putting digital innovation at its service. The conference will present opportunities, projects and also opportunities to collaborate.
The conference will be translated into French and English and it will be in a hybrid format, both physically in Caen, Normandy, and online.
