Funding to Improve Mental Health in Mid-Life

Deadline End of May 2019, so hurry!

Maximum value: £ 20,000

UK-based not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants to support practical, community-focused projects that will support and improve people’s mental health at this critical life-stage.

Applications will be considered from not-for-profit organisations which meet all of the following criteria:

Their project or initiative will support people in mid-life. Suggested age range 30s to 50s.

Their project focuses specifically on supporting and improving people’s mental health and wellbeing, rather than on addressing wider social issues.

Their application clearly explains how they will reach, engage and directly support individuals in improving their mental health and wellbeing.

Their application outlines how they will measure and evaluate the difference their project makes to the mental health and wellbeing of individual participants.

The maximum grant available is £20,000.

Projects awarded funding will automatically receive an uplift of 15% of the level of funding awarded as a contribution to core costs.

Please note this funding will not support respite breaks, day trips, holidays or requests for a level of funding that represents more than 10% of an organisation’s annual turnover.

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2019.
