We are pleased to welcome the Romania – North East Health Ecosystem. Read the interesting interview with Alina Căpitanu, Head of External Projects Office, North-East Regional Development Agency.

Who are the key stakeholders?

The key stakeholders of the Romanian North East Health Ecosystem are the Imago-Mol Health Cluster, representatives of the quadruple helix, public local authorities, the universities of the region, researchers and private bodies (especially SMEs) whose activity is connected to health and ICT. 

What are the main objectives of your ecosystems?

The main objectives of the Romania – North East Health Ecosystem is to connect interested parties both at intra-regional and inter-regional level in order to commonly develop collaborative projects of interest, to enhance the uptake of digital health solutions in the region and to facilitate the exchange of good practices at EU and global level. 

Why did you join the ECHAlliance Network of Ecosystems?

We have joined the ECHAlliance in order to connect our ecosystem to a global network and thus to boost the accomplishment of our objectives, to take part in initiatives of common interest and to be inspired by success stories from across the globe. 

Who is missing from your ecosystem in terms of stakeholders?

In terms of stakeholders, insurance companies and private investors are missing at the moment from our ecosystem. 

Which ecosystems are you looking to collaborate with?

We are looking to collaborate with all the ecosystems that have similar goals as us, especially in the field of digital health and wellbeing, mental health, digital health data, integrated care and medicine adherence, in order to jointly develop projects of common interest, especially from the European Union.
