Communications Officer

Carolina is a Communications Officer at ECHAlliance. She plays a role within the communication’s team, as a Social Media and events organisation specialist.

Carolina has 5+ years’ experience in communications, digital marketing, Public Relations & event organisation for start-ups or small companies, international companies and agencies.
She is solution and goal achievement oriented with her main focus on Social Media. She managed the strategy, the implementation, the creation of the visuals and copywriting, and the analytics for several companies with up to 2m followers.Moreover, she has experience on community building and community manager on Social Media, being part of the customer relations’ team.

Carolina obtained her Bachelor degree (BA) in English and Spanish Studies from the University of Barcelona, the University of Granada (SICUE-SENECA programme), and the University of Lisbon (Erasmus+ programme). Furthermore, she studied a MBA in Corporate Communications, Events and Protocol at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and an MBA in Marketing and Sales Management at EAE Business School.
She also has a diploma on Critical Reading from the University of Oxford and a Protocol diploma from the IECEP.
Career highlights include working for international companies such as Vueling Airlines as Social Media Manager, or at the European Society of Swallowing Disorders as Communication, PR and event oranisation specialist.
