Communication and Event Manager

Bea leads the Communication team of ECHAlliance. She’s in charge to define the Communication strategy and to deploy marketing actions as well as organising international events.

This is one of the ECHAlliance core missions to support information-sharing and connections between members, showcasing and disseminating bold ideas, public policies (EU Presidencies), innovative initiatives (including EU-funded projects) and digital health best practices across our 16,000+ community.

Providing to its members and partners an unrivalled outreach in the European Digital health sector, the Communication team has developed a multi-channels approach building professional capacities with website designers, social media community managers, digital marketing, videos production and broadcasting, online webinars solutions and international conferences/workshops organisation.

Bea has 15+ years’ experience in communication and international event organisation for large companies, public bodies and non-profit entities. She is a detail-oriented professional with strengths in digital communication as well as in event design, planning and execution. Bea obtained a Bachelor degree in Tourism from the University of Girona (Spain) and a Master Degree in International Relations and Opening New Markets from Barcelona School of Business Management and Social Science (ESERP) (Spain). In 2016, she’s also been certified as international executive coach by the EFIC school (Spain). Career highlights include the management of projects and large events (such as eHealth week 2010) at the TIC Salut Social Foundation (a body belonging to the Catalan government), the coordination of policy-makers, health experts and clinicians network at the WHO African Health Observatory (AHO) and the management of several international projects through her own company Malsamamind.
