Who are the key stakeholders?

Academia, health and social care providers and professionals, decision- and policymakers in regional government, municipalities, and government agencies, civil society, technology developers and research/innovation centers.

What are the main objectives of your ecosystems?

The main objective of this ecosystem is to create a real-world evidence-based platform that supports successful implementation of health and welfare technology and effective decision-making processes in the system delivery of health and social care services aimed at promoting health and well-being, preventing diseases, disease management and healthy aging from a person-centered perspective..

Specific objectives include:

  • Bringing together cross-functional stakeholders to foster innovation, promote co-operation and smoothen ineffective silos in the system delivery of health and social care services when implementing health and welfare technology. 
  • Accelerating the adoption and optimization of health and welfare technology to promote health and well-being, prevention, disease management and healthy aging from a person-centered perspective
  • Creating real-world evidence-based models to support value proposition of new technology, decision-making processes and pathways for value-based tendering, sustainable reimbursement models, successful implementation, optimization and evaluation of effectiveness of health and welfare technology.

Why did you join the ECHAlliance Network of Ecosystems?

To connect with other ecosystems and working groups within EU and other regions. We hope to learn, share, collaborate, co-produce and together with others make life better for others.
