We are pleased to welcome the Spanish – Castilla y León Health Ecosystem. Read the full interview with Ana V. Pérez, Cluster Manager of BIOTECYL and Ecosystem Coordinator.

Who are the key stakeholders?

Our key stakeholders are hospitals, medical professionals, patients organizations, Medtech organizations, government, and public representatives.

What are the main objectives of your ecosystems?

Our main objectives are representing companies, technology centres, research groups, universities, hospitals, clients, both on the domestic and European market, as well as developing proper framework for implementing digital healthcare and innovative technologies in medicine too.

Why did you join the ECHAlliance Network of Ecosystems?

We joined the ecosystems to participate in a community committed to connect with other ecosystems and working groups within EU and other regions, and the possibility to engage in global projects. By participating in ECHAlliance, we are seeking to disseminate their skills and capacities to a wider audience as well as looking for potential partners to foster national or cross-border projects. We hope to learn, share, collaborate, co-produce, and together with others make life better for others.

Who is missing from your ecosystem in terms of stakeholders?

Our aim is to extend our network outside regional and national borders. We are looking to develop sustainable partnerships with all categories of international stakeholders: SMEs, large companies, universities, municipalities, hospitals, NGOs, patient representatives or associations, etc

Which ecosystems are you looking to collaborate with?

We are open for any collaboration, especially with ecosystems and working groups related to health and social care sector (private and public), technology developers, researchers, civil societies and patient groups.
