WECHA (non-profit arm of Tech Care for All) is proud to announce the launch of an e-learning program for healthcare professionals in Africa and Asia called “Accelerating the Fight Against Hematologic Diseases” supported by a charitable grant from Bristol Myers Squibb. The initiative focusses on improving the knowledge and skills of health providers in pediatric oncology, with a goal of positively impacting health outcomes for patients in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Senegal, and India.

The Medical Learning Hub (MLH)-a flagship product of Tech Care for All (TC4A), is an e-learning platform that enables healthcare professionals (HCPs) in India and Africa to train and interact with leading medical experts globally. It provides professionals with current medical knowledge and opportunity to engage with peers and colleagues from across the globe in live webinars, on-demand online courses as well as on-site training opportunities.

 WECHA is We Change Health for All and is the non-profit arm of Tech Care for All and glad to announce that the Medical Learning Hub starting in March 2023 will be running an online paediatric oncology focused education program targeting health professionals in Africa and Asia. The program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of health providers primarily practicing in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Senegal, and India and is dubbed Accelerating the Fight Against Hematologic Diseases’ (AFAHD).  The goal is ultimately to positively impact on health outcomes in blood disorders, including cancers and hemoglobinopathies for patients living in these countries. The program’s strategy focusses on three hematological malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma) and congenital hemoglobinopathies (such as thalassemia and sickle cell disease).
