The pilot of the ESSENCE EU project began in Extremadura last September. The study has sixty older people living in the four macro-areas of Badajoz, Cáceres, Don Benito and Mérida, who on December 12, 13 and 14, 2022 participated in training sessions focused on the use of the Activity Center Based in the Community (CBAC). This center is represented by an online platform that integrates: physical and mental stimulation, remote monitoring, telecare with health professionals, and connection among users, family members, and professionals.
