Barça Innovation Hub is a key strategic project that aims to leverage FC Barcelona’s knowledge to rethink the future of the sports industry. The Barça Innovation Hub promotes research and innovation under an open and collaborative culture, working closely with leading brands, universities, research centres, and start-ups from around the world. Healthcare is one of the areas on which the Hub focuses, with several challenges associated.

ECHAlliance members have priority!
The Digital Health Society (DHS) will hold a Working Day in Brussels on 30 January 2018.

This is not a Public Event and is open to members of the DHSplease register here and select which Task Force you wish to join.

During the Estonian EU Presidency in 2017, the Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia and the ECHAlliance have been developing the Digital Health Society (DHS) movement, involving many stakeholders across Europe, policy-makers, citizen/patient groups, health and social care providers and professionals, researchers, start-ups and large companies, investors, insurers, etc. During the eHealth Tallinn Conference last October, the DHS Declaration was launched was launched and remains open for additional signatories and participants.

In parallel, the 4 DHS Task Forces have defined a work programme and action plan to progress on each of the selected topics, and new members have joined.

The latest 
Digital Health Society Update provides an update on the status of the DHS, and the plans and actions to come.

We invite any organisation or individual interested in contributing actively to the Task Forces to join the 
DHS, and participate in the next meeting on 30 January in Brussels.

ECHAlliance is member of the consortium 'WE4AHA', supporting the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Active and Healthy Ageing (AHA) until 2020. We are leading the Work Package dedicated to the Innovation to Market plan and actions. This supports market uptake and large-scale deployment of innovative digital solutions for AHA.

The 2018
Conference of Partners of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday 27-28th of February 2018, in Brussels. The main goal is to help with the planning of the next steps to be taken by the Partnership, and understanding its role within plans for the Digital Single Market.

Participation in the Conference of Partners is free of charge. Pre-registration enables all partners with active commitments to the EIP on AHA to express an interest in joining the Conference of Partners.

SAVE THE DATE: Health Around the Globe 2018

The China Consortium Health Alliance (CCHAlliance) will organise the Third Health around the Globe (DHS2018) Conference in September at the long established PTExpo, a large international event in Beijing gathering thousands of leaders within the IT and telecommunications industry and organised by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Maximising Impact with Horizon 2020
