Tech firms can pitch innovative solutions to these crowdsourced public sector challenges. Winning firms will get up to £50,000 to build prototypes.
We would like particularly to draw our members attention to two of the 5 challenges in Round 3 which is concentrating on "How might we better predict and sequence adult social care to deliver a seamless service?" which is to be sponsored by Torfaen County Council in Wales which may be of interest to members not only from Wales but across the UK. Also we would alert members to one other challenge sponsored by Leeds City Council in the UK which is targeting "How might we proactively monitor the condition of social housing using sensors?" which although not specifically health focused could be of interest to organisations that have applicable solutions.
The third round of GovTech Catalyst challenges were announced today. The GovTech Catalyst is the £20 million fund set up to help private sector innovators tackle public sector problems.
