Health Europa is pleased to announce the launch of a new Editorial Advisory Board.
The board is committed to ensuring that the content produced on www.healtheuropa.eu and in its sister publication Health Europa Quarterly is useful, relevant and of legitimate interest to our substantial readership.
A range of experts have honoured us by agreeing to work with our editorial team on an ongoing basis to provide guidance, support and advice on the future direction of our editorial content, enabling us to best serve the health and care community.
European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance
Brian O’Connor is the chair of the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance), a not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering innovative solutions around all things e- and m-health, which it does by connecting its members from research institutes, governments, industry and patient groups across an international network of ecosystems in Europe and through its Global Digital Health Network in 78 countries.
Professor Deirdre Kelly,

European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology,
Hepatology and Nutrition
Joining him is Professor Deirdre Kelly CBE, a professor of paediatric hepatology/consultant paediatric hepatologist at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, UK. Professor Kelly is currently the chair of the Public Affairs Committee of the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN), a multi-professional organisation committed to fostering the health of children – with special attention to the gastrointestinal tract, liver and nutritional status.

European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN)
Dr Paul De Raeve is the secretary general of the European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN), an independent Brussels-based organisation that represents more than one million nurses over 36 national nurses’ associations in Europe.
Professor Thomas Seufferlein,
Member, Public Affairs Committee,
United European Gastroenterology (UEG)
Completing the board is Professor Dr Thomas Seufferlein, the medical director of the Department of Internal Medicine I at University Hospital Ulm, Germany. Professor Seufferlein is also a member of the Public Affairs Committee of United European Gastroenterology (UEG), which works to raise awareness of digestive disease among specialists and decision-makers at the European level.
All have volunteered their time and assistance on an unpaid, non-commercial and independent basis in order to further the ideals of Health Europa.
