Congratulations Northern Ireland Ecosystem! 5 years working together!

The most recent Northern Ireland Connected Health Ecosystem was held at the Belfast Metropolitan College, Belfast on Thursday 5 October. The Ecosystem theme was ‘Digital Transformation in Health and Wellness’ with three specific topics – Mental Health and Wellbeing, Care @ Home and Medical Reimbursement Modelling.

Dr Andrew McCormick, Permanent Secretary, Department for the Economy, reflected on the Ecosystem’s 5 years in existence, including the achievements and impacts of the NI Ecosystem, and joined the birthday celebrations during the event.

The gathering also welcomed Dr. George Crooks, CEO, Digital Health and Care Institute Scotland, as the Care @ Home keynote speaker, Bleddyn Rees, Co-Chair, International Mental Health and Wellbeing Working Group, provided inspiration in relation to Mental Health and Wellness and Mike Branagan-Harris, CEO, Device Access UK Ltd, shared his knowledge and experience on Medical Reimbursement Modelling.

Brian O’Connor, Chair, ECHAlliance, concluded by providing an update on the recent ECHAlliance activities, future events and the expectations of continued Ecosystem collaboration.
