Due to continued growth of the ECHAlliance community and in order to better serve our members and partners, ECHAlliance wants to appoint 2 new team members for our communication and projects units.

Please see below the 2 international profiles:

Digital Platform & Community Manager:

Main responsibilities:
  • Design:
  • Assisting the existing communication team designing logos, diagrams, pictograms and all kinds of print and digital materials
  • Synthesizing concepts into visual language / Contribute design ideas/concepts to new projects designs
  • Webmaster
  • Design and maintain our website & admin panel (HMTL language needed) 
  • Assist in the webinars, online meetings, using programs such as - GoToMeeting, mailchimp
  • Support ECHAlliance members in the use of “Connector” online platform and create tutorials
  • Database
  • Keep updated and manage our internal membership and contacts database
  • Social Media 
  • Animating the different social networks accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook Youtube.. etc)
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in Social Media and make recommendations on new community management tactics
  •  Works with the team to create and maintain a VIP community to ensure regular feedback from this important user group
  • Availability: 
  • Flexible schedule (4 hours a day - 4 days a week)
  • Flexible environment: Work remotely from your home!
  • This position will involve sporadic travel nationally and internationally throughout Europe to networking events 
  • +5 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands 
  • +5 years of experience developing web sites and applications, including knowledge of HTML 
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Very high attention to detail

International Project Manager:

ECHAlliance is looking for an International project manager to join its Strategy and Innovation (S&I) team:

Key activities

  • Seek and identify opportunities of new projects
  • Collaborate with S&I teams to design, develop and implement projects
  • Prepare commercial offers for customers (public and private organisations)
  • Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met
  • Prepare all documentation to meet the reporting requirements of the funding body 
  • Assist the ECHAlliance members and partners with the preparation and submission of proposals; 
  • Work closely with clients and their consortium on the management of the project ensuring all tasks, deliverables and milestones are completed on time and within budget; 
  • Management of the budget for the project and ensure financial and regulatory compliance with funding body's policies, procedures and requirements; 
  • Management of an international consortium of project partners and the organisation of meetings and events for the project; 
  • Present information on research progress and outcomes to others responsible for the research project; 
  • Make researches around key topics and business intelligence reports


Skills and competencies:

  • University Degree 
  • Knowledge and experience of European research funding programmes;
  • Understanding of healthcare systems in Europe and knowledge about Digital health
  • Demonstrated project management experience (3+ years) and successful funding achievements; 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Languages: fluent English is mandatory + at least 1 other language (ideally French and/or Spanish)
  • Excellent organisation, communication, time management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; 
  • Achievement & results oriented

  • Freelance, independent consultant
  • 3-4 days a week
  • Working mainly from home with own material
  • Travels: this post will involve travel nationally and internationally throughout Europe to networking events and consortia meetings
  • Fee: depending on profile
