The Mental Health and Wellbeing Scoping Study Network met on Thursday 7 September to review the data gathering which is currently underway.

A Stakeholder Map and Directory of Skills and Capability have been developed which outline key stakeholders and the skills and competence of network member companies.

A possible local opportunity has been identified and full details of this will be provided to the network in the coming weeks.

Data gathering continues to:

  • Identify and define unmet needs so that clarification of market opportunities, locally and internationally, can be established;
  • Assess the needs of a range of MHW service users;
  • Determine the main challenges faced by service providers in delivering MHW support and services;

The areas of focus were discussed and are:

  • Perinatal mental health;
  • Prevention at an early symptom stage;
  • Corporate wellness.

Several case studies have been identified and the network is developing a straightforward template from which case studies can be described to ensure consistency of approach and content.

The next meeting will form part of the NI Ecosystem meeting on 5 October where a keynote speaker on Mental Health and Wellbeing and a break out session on Mental Health and Wellbeing will form part of the event.
