The international coordinator of ECHAlliance, Mikaela Nordenfelt, gave a presentation on the Connected Health Ecosystems and the International Network at the ERRIN Working Group Health meeting on 24 May. The aim of the working group meeting, which gathered around 60 participants at the offices of Arnhem Nijmegen City Region in Brussels, was to present Ecosystems and Stakeholder Engagement in Quadruple Helix Cooperation. The other speakers included the Commission, Microsoft, the Health Valley in Arnhem Nijmegen City Region, the AAL programme and EEN services for SME’s.

The ECHAlliance presentation focused on explaining what an Ecosystem is and what its objectives are. As the first point on the agenda, the meeting opened with the video of Brian O’Connor introducing the concept and value of the ECHAlliance as the Trusted Connector in Healthcare. Mikaela then continued to discuss the benefits of an Ecosystem as well as listing the various services and support given by ECHAlliance.
