Since 2013, Connected Health, a Technology Supported Home Care Company has increased its workforce from 30 to almost 300 and has just announced it is recruiting a further 63 personnel.

Douglas Adams, CEO says

" The demand for our high quality, personal care services is increasing significantly. The industry is also changing rapidly from a ‘Mom& Pop’ service with many players to a more corporatised approach, in many ways a similar pattern to that of the Nursing Home Sector a number of years ago. We say about near time, because the people who receive our services deserve more personalised and caring assistance."

Connected Health have created their own Training Academy, the Connected Academy, offering a career path including qualifications to all their workforce. This helps with the attraction of new employees and reduces attrition levels.

Embracing various technologies has allowed more time to be spent with clients and enabled a more personalised service delivery. With over 14,000 visits delivered each week, a skilled workforce supported by the latest technologies are essential ingredients to maintain quality in a highly personalised sector.

The company also recently completed its largest training contract and with North West College, Northern Ireland, successfully recruited, trained and graduated 300 Dementia Champions.

The CEO said

"We feel we have learned a lot, we have changed the way people are cared for and we see a bright future with further expansions planned."
