EUREGHA, a partner of the "coalition of the willing", held an interesting seminar on Mental health in the young: Good practices & new initiatives, 27 April in Brussels.

According to the WHO, 10-20% of children and young adults worldwide experience mental disorders. Half of all mental illnesses begin by the age of 14 and three-quarters by the mid-20s. If left untreated, these conditions have a great impact on children’s development, including their educational achievements and potential to live fulfilling lives.

The purpose of this event was to showcase good regional and local practices in the field of mental health in the young and to identify challenges as well as solutions that could lead to knowledge exchange and cooperation at European level.
