ALEC2017 united 300 digital health professionals from across the globe in the arctic region of Norrbotten (Sweden), for two days of inspiration, networking and skill development. The event brought together patients and healthcare professionals with top-level policy makers, digital health innovators, e-government representatives and academia from more than 120 different organizations and close to 20 different countries to discuss the ‘DigitalTransformation of Health and Care and ‘Health Equity in the Digital Age’
A wide range of topics where discussed at the event where more than fifty speakers shared their insights and expertise, highlighted by inspiring and insightful keynotes from Dr Robert Wah, Dr Christina Åkerman, Nicole Denjoy, Karita Reijonsaari, Alakananda Banerjee, John Crawford, Fredrik Kalloniemi, Prof. Melvin Samsom and Sweden’s minister of Digital Development Peter Eriksson.
ECHAlliance moderated and presented at the ‘International Ecosystem Network’ in the session on “European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing”. The OuluHealth Ecosystem provided an impressive overview of the many exciting initiatives ongoing across Oulu, Finland.
