During this event, the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) organised a session titled “Contrast & Compare: Connected Health in Europe, ahead of or behind the US?"

The session was moderated by Brian O’Connor, Chair of the ECHAlliance and the speakers were Tomaz Gornik, CEO of MARAND and Julien Venne, Strategic Advisor.

The purpose of the session was to present the Digital health market in Europe, comparing it to the US one. After an overview of the key figures around healthcare systems in Europe and USA and of the main trends of the EU market, (view presentation here), Tomaz Gornik explained his point of view and experience about business development for a digital health company, in Europe and in Russia.

The session has been a great success attended by more than 150 people. A debate involving large industries, start-ups, researchers and institutions has followed the presentations.
