Valencia ecosystem: “PROJECTS PILOT IN HEALTH: CHALLENGES AND LESSONS TOUR”

The VLC-Health Ecosystem group organizes a day to generate reflection on the future of pilot initiatives once they are finished and innovation is perfected.
It is aimed at professionals from the Administration, clinical, basic, medical and healthcare research, health innovation ecosystem agents, researcher (s), managers and technicians of innovation projects, project managers Europeans, entrepreneurs …
The “Pilot projects in Health: challenges and lessons learned” is organized by the VLC-Health Ecosystem group (formed by Grupo Sabien- ÍTACA from the UPV, UV, Opesval, DCN, UV Polibienestar Institute, the Research Center Prince Felipe and Las Naves).
Among the current guidelines in the area of innovation policies, pilot projects or initiatives play a fundamental role as a tool to test and validate innovative solutions in real environments. Therefore, a high percentage of public funding coming from European, national or regional and even municipal funds increasingly, are aimed at supporting pilots at different scales. In the field of health, the validation of innovative solutions often requires the participation of users in the pilot initiatives so that this is possible. However, on many occasions the pilots, after their implementation, do not get to be applied or actually implemented in practice although the results have been satisfactory.
This seminar aims to generate reflection on the future of pilot initiatives once they are finished and innovation is perfected: methodologies will be presented that can help transfer to effective practice, experiences of success and failure of pilots financed by European projects, developed for * startups, driven by the own Administration of health or of implantation in the hospitable scope.
