Upskilling & Reskilling as part of the Well-being of the European Workforce

We look forward to Andy Bleaden discussion on life-long learning and how the issue of skills interlinks with the improvement of well-being in the workplace

Globalisation, digitalisation, robotisation and the green transition are highlighting the crucial need for European societies to constantly develop the skills of workers and their well-being.

The current COVID-19 pandemic has a major effect on the redefinition of well-being in the workplace. With its ‘Pact for Skills’, the Commission has put a focus on upskilling & reskilling for a resilient Europe.

The key to the improvement of the well-being of workers can be found in the development of skills programmes by public authorities and companies.

Upskilling and reskilling are an essential part of a healthy workplace and, ultimately, healthy people.

This event will be moderated by EURACTIV Journalist and Presenter Jennifer Baker, and will gather representatives and experts from the European institutions, civil society and the industry:
