CW Workshop at WHINN Week 2018

The Coalition of the Willing will organize a Workshop Session during the WHINN week on the 10th of October in Odense, Denmark.

The workshop will count with “Parallel track”  to ensure the founding partners of the CW can showcase their current activities and future plans for securing a future for technology-enabled health and care services that are of high quality, sustainable and co-produced with citizens. Three roundtables on:

a. citizen’s secure access to, and sharing of, their health data, b. better data for research, disease prevention and personalized medicine, c. digital tools for citizen empowerment and integrated care

As the project lead for the ALTAS (Assistive Living Training and Skills) project, Dave Horsfield will present the project as an exemplar of good practices of (transregional/international).  
  Building an International Ecosystem Network
  • Gregor Cuzak, International Ecosystem Network Coordinator Slovenia
Gregor will provide insights into the growing Ecosystem Network, he will report on actual collaborations across the regional / national ecosystem and explore the potential of utilizing the Ecosystem Priority Matrix to enhance collaboration across Europe.  
 
  • Daniel Buhr – Germany CORAL
Daniel Buhr has been actively involved in numerous research and innovation projects (i.e. LebensPhasenHaus, ITHACA, TABLU, Gesundes Kinzigtal, Smart Home & Living Baden-Württemberg) and the set up of Baden-Württemberg’s ecosystem in the area of health and care. He will present good practices of (transregional/international) collaboration (i.e. CORAL, Interreg Europe project ITHACA).  
  The virtues of European collaboration – a Scottish perspective
  • Donna Henderson – Scotland / Scottish Ecosystem RSCN
Donna will present an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of Europeancollaboration and give hints to improve this collaboration in the future. She will also provide a short analysis of the European Commission’s innovation policies and her advice on enhancing collaboration among health and care ecosystems.
