The European Connected Health Alliance Group (ECHAlliance Group) is the Global Health Connector for Digital Health, facilitating multi-stakeholder connections around ecosystems, driving sustainable change and disruption in the delivery of health and social care.

ECHAlliance’s global community connects 78 countries and 4.4 billion people (Africa, Americas, Asia, Canada, Caribbean, China, Europe, India, the Pacific & USA).

Its community of over 20,000 experts – including government, health & social care providers, leading companies and start-ups, researchers, insurances, patients groups and citizens, and the investment community connect through ecosystem meetings (120 per year) and international events and our online platform.

The Digital Health Observatory (DHO) and The Digital Health Society (DHS) movement facilitate and promote the transfer of knowledge, experiences and best practices creating a community of knowledge in Digital Health globally.

Scottish Enterprise

Scotland

Scottish Enterprise is Scotland’s national economic development agency. To deliver a significant, lasting effect on the Scottish economy they work with partners in the public and private sectors to find and exploit the best opportunities.

Scottish Enterprise have established the Health for Wealth National Programme and are working with a vision “to make Scotland a world leader in the health & care economy while enabling our citizens to live longer, healthier lives.”

The two aims of the Health for Wealth National Programme are to (1) build a world leading health and care innovation ecosystem, and to (2) fully exploit the potential of digital technologies and data to transform health and care.

The programme supports Scottish Enterprise’s main focus on creating economic growth, skilled and sustainable jobs, and inward investment.

SeAMK – Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences

Finland

SeAMK (Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences) is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education and an efficient actor in education and research, development and innovation (RDI) in the region of South Ostrobothnia in West Finland.

The number of full-time students is approximately 4700 and academic and other staff members 350. SeAMK has 18 Bachelor and 8 Master degree programmes.

Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences provides education aiming at high-level professional qualification in the following fields: Culture; Social sciences, Business and Administration; Technology, Communication and Transport; Natural Resources and the Environment; Social services, Health and Sports; Tourism, Catering and Domestic Services-

The studies offered here are technical in nature and very much focused on work orientation, which gives the institution a unique and innovative character. SeAMK is once again the best university of applied sciences in Finland in the 2021 results of the nationwide graduation feedback survey (AVOP). Its Master’s programmes for international students have a great impact on the region and on the future of Finland as a whole, training professionals from different countries and adding their expertise to Finnish companies.

Pannon Business Network (PBN)

Hungary

Pannon Business Network (PBN) is an applied research and development and training center. Its main purpose is to improve competitiveness via digital technologies, education, research and development, built on international relations. Its expensive international partnership pool covers all countries in Europe.

Since its foundation in 2006 (a decade and a half), the goal has always been to increase the added value of manufacturing companies (businesses). PBN’s international management includes everything from consulting and strategic planning to the coordination of clusters to the analysis of transport corridors, all with the central focus on digitisation. Facilitating structural change for sustainability and creating skilled jobs is another of its main goals, thus bringing wealth to their region and to all the companies that collaborate and benefit from their expertise and services. Continuous learning and innovation make PNB an indispensable cluster for cooperation with leading European scientific institutions.

France

Eurasanté is a development agency dedicated to tech transfer and business development in the life sciences sector. For more than twenty years, Eurasanté has worked to promote the development of the health sector. Their experienced project managers assist researchers, startups, and businesses to develop their innovations and projects, boosting their business and networks.

Eurasanté runs 3 incubators (the Eurasanté Bio-Incubator and Bio-Accelerator (health), the incubator-accelerator Euralimentaire (foodtech) and the incubator-accelerator Eurasenior (silver economy)), 2 site of excellence (Eurasanté Park dedicated to health sector, and Euralimentaire site of excellence dedicated to fresh, local product, and their logistics), and a national cluster Clubster Nutrition Health Longevity at the crossroad of health and nutrition.

Cluster Saúde de Galicia (GSC)

Spain

Cluster Saúde de Galicia (CSG) is a non-profit public-private professional collaboration platform that encompasses industries and institutions related to the Galician healthcare sector. Its main purpose is to support innovation for the creation of solutions that improve people’s health.

With a track record of more than 10 years advocating for companies in the Galician health sector, they are focused on collaboration between these companies and are characterized by their support for innovation and technology in all their projects. Through growth and competitiveness, the aim is to improve the national and international positioning of the region.

The CSG has developed different strategic projects that support its aim, among which are:

  • RIES, a yearly innovative showcase event that encompasses the main stakeholders of the healthcare and social care sectors at a national and international level to address the challenges and opportunities of the health ecosystem.
  • Learning Expeditions (LEX) that form part of the internationalization strategy of the CSG. These study missions focus on exploring foreign markets, identifying new collaboration opportunities, and establishing new connections.”
  • ITGALL, the private social care living lab managed by the Cluster Saúde de Galicia that is made up of several members of the CSG community with the aim to test innovative solutions in real-life settings.
