Yorkshire & Humber Digital Health & Wellness Ecosystem - Meeting a great success!

More than 120 delegates attended the sixth meeting of the Yorkshire & Humber Digital Health and Wellbeing Ecosystem meeting to participate in talks, workshops and discussions on the theme of the Digital Health Adoption Challenge.

The event, hosted by the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network in partnership with ECHAlliance and sponsored by the University Centre at Wakefield College, was held at Unity Works in Wakefield.

It was opened by Cllr David Jones, Deputy Cabinet member for Economic Growth and Skills at Wakefield Council and featured speakers from across the regional and national digital health community leading sessions on:

  • Shared learning on innovative commissioning collaborations and the role of leadership
  • Resources for innovators to create their own adoption ‘toolkits’
  • National and regional initiatives to empower digital ready workforces and communities

Speakers on the day included:

  • Rahna Riley – Rochdale Borough Council
  • Bruce Elliott – NHS Digital
  • Alison Braithwaite – mHabitat
  • James Rawlinson – Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
  • Dr Julia Reynolds – Innovation Agency
  • Andy Williams – Answer Digital
  • Representatives from the Sheffield City Region Test Bed Advisory Board
